IN HIS OWN WORDS

“The soul is not seen. I painted with white on white an invisible work with the shape of my soul. Then, I managed to reveal it and could see it.
This series arises from light, from well-being. I feel I have crossed a portal that allows me to paint the reverse of the forms, the negative of a film where my emotions are in slow motion.
Black as a gesture, as a stain or drawing gave way to extreme light, leaving white a leading role.
This is a new dimension of my painting. A parallel world that has always been there but hidden, is now being revealed in this new series called OVEREXPOSED.”
